Dear Faithful Clerks and Moderators,

As we wrap-up the calendar year 2025, it is time to prepare the annual statistical report for your congregation.  This report is a vital tool for understanding trends in both our presbytery and the denomination and maintaining our connections with one another.

Please note that there are 2 deadlines. First is for the reports to the presbytery office due by January 29, 2026 so that we can prepare the reports for the Presbytery meeting.

Enclosed in this packet, you will find the following required forms for this year's submission:

  1. Elder Necrology - CLICK HERE

  2. Minister’s Compensation - Word Docx CLICK HERE or complete it online (preferred) at Pastor's Compensation Online Form (2026) – Fill out form

  3. Active Ruling Elder Roster Form - CLICK HERE

  4. Directory Listing for your Church – This was mailed to your clerk, please email any corrections to our office.

These reports can be emailed to: DLS67@presbycc.org

We also request a copy of each congregation’s certificate of insurance. While submission of the certificate is not required, we encourage you to provide one to help keep the presbytery's records current. Regardless, it remains essential to regularly review your insurance coverage. Please consult with your insurance carrier to ensure your coverage meets your congregation’s needs and make adjustments.

The second deadline is February 20, 2026 for the online reporting. Mailed to the clerk were the instructions for accessing the clerk’s portal of the PC(USA) website, where you enter your congregation's data. Please ensure all information is submitted on the PC(USA) website on time. If you have questions or need assistance please contact De Scott several days before the deadline (910-862-8300 x1).

As we reflect on the year completed, I offer this prayer of thanks for you:

God, we give you thanks for those who have the spiritual gift of administration. Thank you for our clerks and all those who keep our records, capture our history, and help us stay organized and orderly. Even so Lord, we know that sometimes you invite us into the chaos of spontaneity, joy and surprise so that we have a fresh view of your blessings and the world around us. Help us to find the balance of work, play and rest so that we know your faithfulness throughout our lives. May your kin-dom come! Amen

May our Advent reflections bring renewal to our faith,

ree

Rev. Laura Lupton, Associate General Presbyter & Stated Clerk
