Central Community offers College Scholarships

Dear Central Community Churches:  We greet you in Christ and would like to invite your high school senior or current college student to participate in the Central Community Student Scholarship Program. Each year in June, we recognize students entering or currently enrolled in college with scholarships funded by our Presbytery. To qualify, a student must be a member of a Central Community church in our Presbytery and recognized for outstanding church and community involvement. The student will receive a certificate of appreciation and a $500 scholarship. The Steering Team intends to select one student from each of the five counties in the Central Community (Bladen, Columbus, Cumberland, Robeson, and Sampson). If your student is interested, please submit the attached application, a letter of acceptance from the trade school, college, or university of their choice, the student identification number, and two references, one from the pastor or clerk of session and the other from someone who is not a family member.
