Presbytery voted in June to become a MATTHEW 25 PRESBYTERY. At the June 2024 Presbytery meeting, a majority of commissioners voted yes for our Presbytery to become a Matthew 25 Presbytery. The Matthew 25 invitation focuses on Matthew 25: 31-46, the parable of the sheep and goats in which Jesus makes clear, that what we do matters to God and how we treat others is important to God. The initiative focuses on three areas.
Focus #1 – Building Congregational VitalityFocus
Focus #2 – Dismantling Structural RacismFocus
Focus #3 – Eradicating Systemic Poverty
