Synod Presbyterian Women Summer Gathering To Be Held at Massanetta Springs, VA

The Synod of the Mid-Atlantic Pr e s b y t e r i a n Women Summer Gathering will take place June 10th-13th at the Massanetta Springs Camp and Conference Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

The theme will be: "Come! Take the Water of Life Freely" based on Revelation 22:17 from the 2010-2011 Horizons Bible Study, Journeys Through Revelation: Apocalyptic Hope for Today. Louise Lawson Johnson, author of the Suggestions for Leaders for the Bible Study, will serve as the Bible Study Leader for the Gathering.

A special event this year will be the High Tea, sponsored by the Massanetta Spring Centennial Committee; so bring your hat, gloves, teacup, and saucer--along with your regular casual gathering clothes.

Eighteen different workshops will be offered (some more than once), with each attendee having the chance to attend five of her choice. The Early Bird full registration fee of $370 per person (which includes registration, lodging, and meals) is due by April 1st. After April 1st, the full registration fee will be $395 per person. The Summer Gathering promises to be a wonderful time of inspiration and fellowship for everyone!

• August: Order Material for Thank Offering

• September 18: Presbytery Leadership School at Robeson Community College, Lumberton

• November 13: Coordinating Team Meeting, PWP at Presbytery Office, Elizabethtown

• November 15: Mission Pledge Forms Due to: Michele Simmons, Moderator

• November: Collect and Dedicate Thank Offering

• December 10: Send Thank Offering and Quaterly Mision Pledges to: Joyce Winkler, Treasurer
