Reviews session records at each Presbytery meeting. According to the Book of Order the presbytery must review the minutes of all churches annually. Clerks are asked to bring the session minute book to any presbytery meeting during the year for review of the previous year's minutes. In preparation, please use the session records check list before bringing your minutes to the committee. This committee also guides the presbytery in responding to General Assembly overtures and directives. For example, hosting forums to disuuss proposed changes to the Book of Order, implement studies as directed by the national assembly, etc. The committee meets during each presbytery meeting to review session records. it only meets at other times if needed because of Higher Governing Body directive.
